I have been nurturing children since 2007. I truly value the quality of childcare. Early Years Assistant

I have spent over ten years focused on the growth and happiness of young learners in preschool and kindergarten environments. My approach is centered on kindness and providing a gentle, supportive space where every child feels seen and valued. I find immense joy in reading with the group; by diving deep into wonderful stories together, I help spark their creative minds and guide them as they explore the enchanting worlds found within their favorite books.

I began my career in 2010, working in various early years settings in Petersfield and the surrounding areas. I have two children, both of whom came to Stepping Stones and loved their time here, so I was thrilled when a job vacancy came up and I could join the fun. I really enjoy watching the children grow and develop during their time at Stepping Stones.

For over a decade, I have dedicated myself to supporting young children across preschool and reception settings. I am a firm believer that play is the most natural way for them to grow, and I especially love our time in the kitchen—it is a wonderful, hands-on way to encourage healthy habits.

I began my path in Occupational Therapy in 1996, taking a break to focus on raising my two older children with autism and SEN. After my youngest son had such a wonderful experience here at Stepping Stones, I was delighted to join this amazing team in 2021 as an SEN assistant. I am deeply devoted to watching your children gain confidence and thrive as they master new skills and find their feet.

I have dedicated many years to working with children across a range of after school  and holiday club settings. My deepest passion lies in creativity and crafts; I especially love leading holiday clubs where children can explore their imaginations through artistic projects. As a mother to four girls, I am truly committed to providing a gentle, nurturing space. I believe that being surrounded by a supportive environment is essential for every child as they learn, play, and create.

I have many years of experience working with children and adults with additional needs, in supported living services as well as in education. I have also worked in mainstream schools as a TA.
